They play at the North Street Church as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.atlanticfringe.ca\">Atlantic Fringe Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These plays, each one ten minutes in length, have all been winners at Short Play Festivals and they have a really Summerstock feel-good,\u00a0wholly\u00a0unpretentious, comedy feel to them. They are well written, tightly constructed and very charming with some big, broad humour and hammed up performances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some highlights for me were the twist in <em>Totally Organic<\/em>, Leslie Milne as Miss Travers in <em>Drawing The Line<\/em>, the visually hilarious prescence of Ian MacDermid and Kate Waterfield in <em>Totally Organic<\/em> and Jill Curley\u2019s hilarious lust for blood and sex in <em>A Business Arrangement<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This type of theatre has a wide, but specific, audience and it is one that is often quite different from the typical \u201cFringe going\u201d crowd, but if you like Norm Foster plays and frequent places like Theatre Arts Guild, Dartmouth or Bedford Players or The Chester Playhouse and Festival Antigonish in the summer, you will likely really dig this show!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>TWISI Rating:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.twisitheatreblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/3-and-a-half-stars4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1452\" title=\"3 and a half stars\" src=\"https:\/\/www.twisitheatreblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/3-and-a-half-stars4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"43\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>A Quartet of Devious Dealings <\/em>plays at the North Street Church (5657 North Street) at the following times:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Friday September 7th at 8:00pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Saturday September 8th at 4:30pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sunday September 9th at 8:15pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>It is $10.00 (or $2.50 per play).
