Olithea communicates best in stream of consciousness, while our protagonist prefers to express himself in writing. Yet, despite their differences, these two unlikely people manage to make a connection with one another.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The play is more poetic imagery and metaphor than straightforward narrative. Matt Gorman plays the protagonist with a distinct intellectualism and erratic, yet affable, charm that makes the play reminiscent of a Woody Allen film.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ultimately <i>B Side Record Play<\/i> seems to suggest that even when we feel the most ostracized, the most lost and alienated from the world and from ourselves, that the opportunity for kindness and human connection exists, even in the most random and surprising of circumstances.
