The choreography by Lauren Amyotte is beautifully configured and proficiently executed, especially by the cast\u2019s core chorus of dancers. The cast is inconsistent, especially vocally. Adam Krzyski and Chelsea Doherty capture nicely the essence of Nicholas Brendon\u2019s Xander and Alyson Hannigan\u2019s Willow. Jessica Barry\u2019s rendition of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=65Btc3m2C08\">\u201cUnder Your Spell\u201d <\/a>is nearly a carbon copy of Amber Benson\u2019s and Savanna Darby\u2019s singing voice is very strong. The stand-out performances, however, belong to Brandon Lorimer\u2019s Spike and James MacLean\u2019s Giles, who both really root the musical in Whedon\u2019s Sunnydale in a vibrant and immediate way. There&#8217;s also some great costumes from Chelsea Kendall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Once More With Feeling<\/em> is not as polished as I would like to see from Saint&#8217;s Alive, as all the elements don&#8217;t quite come together in a cohesively solid production, but it is absolutely fun and sure to leave die hard Buffy fans squealing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(<em>Once More With Squealing<\/em>?!!? &#8230; Sorry.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">TWISI Rating:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.twisitheatreblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/3-and-a-half-stars.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2034\" alt=\"3 and a half stars\" src=\"https:\/\/www.twisitheatreblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/3-and-a-half-stars.jpg\" width=\"240\" height=\"43\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Once More With Feeling<\/em> plays at the Neptune Scotiabank Studio Theatre (1593 Argyle Street) at the following times:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Wednesday September 4 &#8211; 7:00pm<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Thursday September 5 &#8211; 9:00pm<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Friday September 6 &#8211; 9:00pm<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Saturday September 7 &#8211; 3:30pm<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Sunday September 9 &#8211; 7:00pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tickets are $10.00 and are available in advance online\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/atlanticfringefest.eventbrite.com\/\">at this website<\/a>\u00a0or 30 minutes before each show at the venue on the day of the performance.
