Tomorrow night, The National Theatre of the World\u2019s<\/strong> <\/a>The Carnegie Hall Show<\/strong> is under new management for ONE NIGHT ONLY<\/strong>. To celebrate the launch of Skye Regan Photography<\/strong><\/a>, photographer superstar Skye Regan<\/strong> has put together two nights of comedy, music and theatre<\/strong> featuring some of Toronto\u2019s finest performers<\/strong>. The first night is Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009 at the Bread and Circus (299 Augusta Avenue)<\/strong>, the money raised from the shows will go towards incorporating Regan\u2019s website and off-setting the start-up costs.
Hosted by The Carnegie Hall Show<\/strong><\/a>, celebrating the return of Ron Pederson<\/strong>, with special guests Michal Grajewski<\/strong> and James Gangl<\/strong>, the show will also feature performances from The Lusty Mannequins<\/strong>, 10,000 to Flight<\/strong>, Jessica Stuart<\/strong>, Danny & the Tramps<\/strong> (members of Hooded Fang<\/strong>) and the Carnegie Hall Show Players<\/strong>. Tickets are $10.00<\/strong> at the door. It\u2019s sure to be an evening of surprises, goodies and lots of laughter and mustaches. Decmeber 2nd. Bread and Circus. 8:30pm<\/strong>.
On Thursday, December 3rd, 2009<\/strong>, Skye Regan Photography <\/a>launches its second evening of music, comedy and theatre<\/strong> at the Comedy Bar <\/a>with performances from Falcon Powder<\/strong>, Kathleen Phillips, Big Tease, Tonka & Puma, Flamingo Bandit<\/strong>, Grade 8 Dance<\/strong>! You know what is great? InterAction Children\u2019s Theatre Company<\/a><\/strong>. Located in Saint John, New Brunswick<\/strong>, its Artistic Director is the fabulous Kate Wilcott<\/strong> (who was my first drama teacher in Halifax when I was eight). InterAction Theatre<\/strong> is kicking off the holidays with their Advanced Performance Company\u2019s<\/strong> production of The Jungle Book<\/em><\/strong>, directed by Wilcott, with chereography by Marcia Dysart<\/strong> and musical direction by Zoe Caddell<\/strong>. From the ever-talented Farren Timoteo<\/strong> comes a brand new adaptation of everyone\u2019s favourite Candyland tale: Hansel and Gretel!<\/em><\/strong> Timoteo and Jeff Unger<\/strong> have teamed to create this brand new musical presented by Alberta Opera Musical Theatre for Young People<\/strong> at the Varscona Theatre<\/strong> <\/a>(10329 83 Avenue) December 4th to December 13th, 2009<\/strong>. “Run away with Hansel and Gretel and the tale of a brother and sister living in an impoverished homestead on the edge of the Black Forest.
